Sandie has been involved in campus ministry with the CCO across nearly four decades at many different universities. She strives to fulfill her call to love college students. She gives students a vision for serving Jesus in their studies, careers, communities, church, and families. Sandie meets students on campus and serves them in a variety of ways from driving them to the doctor, taking them grocery shopping, attending their athletic competitions, encouraging them, and providing one on one discipleship and support. She leads weekly Bible Studies in her home and develops student leaders.
In addition to financial support, Redeemer Presbyterian Church has contributed baked goods and special treats for student care packages before final exams.
Please keep Sandie and her ministry in your daily prayers.

Sam Van Eman is a XD Resource Specialist with the Department of Transformative Opportunities. Sam’s primary work involves creating and facilitating transformative opportunities for college students. This unique approach to ministry serves as the backdrop for his book: Disruptive Discipleship: The Power of Breaking Routine to Kick-Start Faith, Hope, and Love.
Sam writes: “I am compelled by the CCO’s desire to help students develop their Christian faith in every area of life. So we might use a backpacking trip to promote interdependency, which students can then apply in their residence halls back at school. Or we’ll discuss the Good Samaritan story and how Jesus might retell it with them—in their future careers—as the Good Samaritan. What a thrill to see the light bulbs come on in students’ minds!”
Please keep Sam and his ministry in your daily prayers. You may read updates and prayer requests in the following Newsletters:

Ray writes: “I love ministering to students and connecting students to Christ. I am excited to be working with the CCO because I believe that college ministry can change the world. During my freshman year of college, I was invited to Jubilee and that’s where I dedicated my life to Christ. If it wasn’t for campus ministry staff reaching out to me and sharing Christ with me, I’m not sure where I would be spiritually.”
